"So since getting to the halfway house in November 2025 I have been to a Saturday morning boxing class here at this gym, Donald teaches us some fundamental skills every saturday. This class has been one of my biggest tools I have used while on my journey through recovery. I look forward every saturday to going to this class and seeing what new skills I am able to learn. It helps me fellowship with other like minded individuals in recovery as well as clears my mind from any built up frustrations during my week, when Im here I get to let out all the baggage you could say in a healthy productive way. Not to mention it keeps me physically fit and alert. I wanna thank life line for allowing us to have this time every weekend and all the people I have met while there, every person that comes in has been extremely welcoming non judgemental and has helped teach all of us that there is a community out there willing to help someone in need while in recovery if you want the help its out here. I suggest if anyone is serious about their sobriety just show up to a place like this check it out connect see what they have to offer any one willing to try something new get vulnerable and do the work there is a community that will help you. Thanks Donald for all the help and new skills. Thanks Savana for picking us up and taking us back every weekend. I truly believe my recovery would not be what it is today if it were not for the consistency of this class."

"The mentors at Life -Line go above and beyond to provide support for their students as well as their families. I've personally had Lenny and Larry show up or step in advocating for my son without being asked to. They go out of their way to transport the kids to so many things whether required educational or just for fun in their community. Josh Sisneros made himself available to offer information and clarification when I was receiving neither from the places in DPS I should have. I am more then grateful for the time and effort from the entire staff. I would recommend this program to anyone. Thank you all!

"lenny and larry have helped me out in so many ways and some difficult situations, They showed up in court with me and have even given me rides to group, they have been there for me since the day i met them. Their always supporting my goals and have never let me down and they always have a good spirt with them, we are always getting invited to group activities with other student in the program like the museums , to tour around collages all of that and so much more."
